AP Deli

AP Deli Chicago's Corned Beef Restaurant and Deli.

A.P. Deli - About Us

AP Deli started in 1984 on Chicago's south side at 107th and Michigan as a little corner food and liquor/grocery store that sold Corned Beef Sandwiches on the side.

Joe Eddy Battee, one of the owners three sons, started experimenting with various seasonings and came up with a sandwich that was very flavorful, tender and delicious.

People from all over Chicago came to get their Corned Beef Sandwiches.

In 1996, with the backing of Aaron Pollard and his sister, Sarah Battee, Kenny and Dave Battee (Sarah's son) took on the venture of expanding the popular corned beef sandwich into seperate fast food deli business.

Their first AP Deli location opened at 75th and Jeffery.
